The device allows physicians to detect early-stage atherosclerotic plaque formation through a five-minute painless retinal vascular scan.
Data published in the New England Journal of Medicine demonstrated that the diagnostic algorithm identified pre-clinical arterial stiffness with 98.4% sensitivity across a diverse cohort of 12,000 trial participants.
